Todd Christianson
President & CEO
todd@titanalaska.netTodd started in the lawn and landscaping business at 18 years old and has been in sitework and construction ever since. With more than three decades of sitework contracting in Alaska, Todd’s experience and resume put him in a unique class in Alaska site construction. He has overseen the sitework for over 250 commercial projects, including high-profile work like the Alaska SeaLife Center in Seward and the final landscape construction of Anchorage’s Town Square. His design/build projects anchor some of the best residential subdivisions in Alaska, including Prominence Point, Resolution Point, Crossview Estates and The Terraces.
A former UAA Seawolf hockey player, Todd is well known in Alaska hockey circles. He founded the Anchorage Jr. Aces competitive hockey league and, as a professional youth coach, led four different age levels to USA Hockey National Championships.
Kevin Thompson
Construction General Manager
kevin@titanalaska.netKevin is a lifelong Alaskan with more than 20 years in the Alaskan landscaping, sitework and snow removal industries. He began his career as a crewman and has held nearly every position in the landscape construction division; today he serves as Construction General Manager for all summer and winter operations. A goal-driven team leader, Kevin promotes a safety-first work environment and works to implement, develop and educate all crews and equipment operators in the safest, most efficient practices in the industry.
Kevin has extensive knowledge of Alaska-zoned horticulture and a deep skill set in landscape design implementation and installation, from new construction to complete renovations of existing sites. He has estimated, coordinated, supervised and project-managed commercial and residential work from start to finish across a broad range of public and private projects: new vertical construction, education facilities (ASD & UAA), military facilities (JBER), medical facilities, parks and green spaces, roadways and bike trails for the Municipality of Anchorage and State of Alaska. Client-oriented and comfortable in a fast-paced environment, Kevin works to find solutions that keep projects on time and within budget — small or large scale. He has been married for 15 years, has three children and lives in Anchorage.
Renee Davies-Ecklund
Chief Operating Officer / Administrative Manager
renee@titanalaska.netRenee brings more than 22 years in accounting, human resources, contract administration and project management, and was one of the first employees hired when Titan started in 2010. She supports the Titan team across every department — hiring, marketing, sales and project management. Before Titan, Renee was CFO and General Manager of Sullivan Stone Factory, Inc., where she held the company’s C-29 masonry contractor trade license and managed blueprints, bidding, proposals, material ordering and project management. Her most successful project was the Fairmont Grand Del Mar Resort and Clubhouse in Del Mar, CA, where she served as onsite lead project manager for custom stone installation — overseeing 150 employees and completing $9.6 million of work over two years. She is married, has two children and has lived in Anchorage since 2006.
Chris Dietrich
Construction Operations Manager
Chris has over 20 years in the construction industry, with the last ten heavily focused on public- and private-sector work. The majority of those projects were in the Midwest and Florida, ranging from small residential jobs to several-hundred-million-dollar government contracts — a diversity that has given him a wide range of planning and project management experience. Chris prides himself on watching a project take root and flourish to completion. In his spare time he has coached Little League and Babe Ruth baseball. He is passionate about his family and recently relocated to Anchorage, Alaska.
Themba Maphosa
Estimator / Project Manager
Themba joins the Titan team with over 30 years in the landscaping industry. He began his career at the University of Washington studying landscape architecture and has designed landscapes for several large home builders — Lennar, Kimball Hill, US Homes, Kaufman & Broad and Toll Brothers — along with three master-plan parks and 70 model complexes in Las Vegas, NV. Themba walks clients through every step of the landscaping process, from design to installation and maintenance. His extreme attention to detail makes him the perfect person to help design the highest-quality outdoor space for your family — he specializes in high-detail projects including ponds, waterfalls, concrete landscapes and outdoor kitchens. Outside of work, he spends his time on traditional Alaska activities with his family, like camping and fishing.
